Soyaux Angoulame caused the biggest upset of the round on Friday night, defeating Brive on their own turf – the first team to do so this season and end their 4 game losing streak.
Veteran Centre Ledua Mau who only returned last week, scored in the 35th minute when he chased through on a perfectly weighted chip kick into the Brive in-goal area.
While he didn’t see much in terms of attack, he was busy defensively making 11 tackles for the night.
It was a much needed win for Soyaux who move 4 points clear of the relegation zone and into 13th place.
