Naqali to make USA debut

Former Fijian Drua NRC Lock Tevita Naqali has been named in the USA lineup to take on Belgium this weekend. The towering second rower has been exceptional the last 2 seasons and gets his just reward.

He represented Fiji in 2019 in their exhibition win against the Barbarians and also came off the bench in the Drua's NRC title win in 2018.

New England are the Major League Rugby Champions for the 3rd consecutive year, beating Houston 28-22 and completing the first 3-peat in the competitions history.

Jone Koroiduadua, Cameron Nordli-Kelemeti both started as well as winger Paula Balekana who scored 2 tries and also tied the competition record of 15 tries in a single season.

Utah exit after Semi Final loss

The Utah Warriors 2025 season came to an end on Sunday morning after they lost the Western Conference Championship match against Houston 19-33.

With the result decided, Hooker Tuvere Vugakoto scored a try for the home side to make the scoreline somewhat respectable. It's his 4th try of the year.

Freejacks win Eastern Conference Championship

New England Freejacks are headed to the MLR Championship game after beating Chicago 21-20 in a thrilling Eastern Conference Championship game.

Trailing 14-0 at halftime, the home side staged a second half comeback and didn't hit the lead until the 78th minute.

Cameron Nordli-Kelemeti scored their second try. They await the winner of the Western Conference Championship game played this morning between Utah and Houston.

Paula Balekana started on the wing and Jone Kordoiduadua started at Prop.

Freejacks into Semi Finals

The New England Freejacks title defence is on track with a big victory in their Quarter Final against Miami 32-10. Winger Paula Balekana added to his try tally in the 1st minute of play and now sits only 1 behind the competition leader. Balekana now has 13 tries for the year, incredibly scored in only 12 matches.

The Freejacks face Chicago in the Eastern Conference Final while the Utah Warriors host Houston for the Western Conference Title.

Jone Koroiduadua started at Prop for New England in the MLR final against the Sabercats.

The Freejacks won the game 28-22 and their third consecutive title. It is Koroiduadua’s first MLR ring and caps off a successful season after leaving the Fijian Drua.

Another solid season for Vugakoto

It was another solid season from former Flying Fijians Hooker Tuvere Vugakoto. After injury limited him to only 3 matches last season, he bounced back in 2025 to play 11 matches, scoring 4 tries along the way.

He now has 62 caps for the Warriors, the club he joined post Rugby World Cup 2019.
