After a close loss to Castres in Round 5, Castres returned to the winners circle in Week 6 against Montpellier with a hard fought 32-25 win.

Josua Tuisova started at Centre and was fairly well contained by the opposition defence although he still managed to make 49 metres from 8 carries.

He was the difference maker in the end, setting up Wilfried Hulleu for a try with a great offload in the 51st minute before throwing the final pass to Vinaya Habosi who scored the decisive try in the 76th minute.

Racing won their 2nd consecutive match, putting behind them their opening round loss.

Josua Tuisova started at Centre and was probably underused, carrying the ball into contact on only 4 occasions. He was busy in the breakdowns and in defence, making 9 tackles for the night and forcing 2 turnovers.

It’s his first start of the season after coming off the bench in their first 2 games, the workload of the 31 year old seemingly being managed by the Racing coaching crew.

Josua Tuisova proved again to be the centrepiece of the Flying Fijians attacking game. Constantly hitting the ball up into a brick wall and tacking several defenders to bring him down.

At times he looked a little overworked, leaving little in the tank for later in the game. He was replaced by Vilimoni Botitu in the 65th minute.

A mammoth 19 carries for 118 metres, 2 offloads and 7 defenders beaten. Defensively he was also a brick wall, causing a maul turnovers and 2 ruck turnovers.

Tuisova started at Centre for Fiji in their opening test match of 2025. He was double teamed all game and was handled quite well to be fair to Australia.

The strategy with Tuisova is key to Fiji’s gameplan, how he was used in this game – first run and then turned into playmaker as he inevitably drew defenders in. Threw the final pass for Sireli Maqala’s no try and defensively kept the Wallabies Centre pairing very quite.

Equal game high in carries with 12 with 66 metres gained. Beat 4 defenders, made 9 tackles and won 1 turnover.
