A powerful runner with a great ability to beat a defender. Naseara was a Fiji Sevens prospect until he was snatched up by Dax where he became an instant sensation in his rookie season.
Jope Naseara scored another try for Dax in what you could call the “battle of the cellar dwellers” between last placed Dax and the 15th placed Carcassonne.
Following a Jale Vatubua surge near the opposition tryline, Naseara quickly picked up the ball and charged over to score his 3rd try of the season in the 26th minute.
It was a wet, rainy night and most of the match was slugged out between the two forward packs. Naseara registered only 5 carries, 3 tackles, 1 dominant tackle and 1 turnover won.

Jope Naseara made a succesful return from injury for Dax. He started on the wing in their trip to Provence.
He made a couple of damaging runs and doesn’t look to be hampered in his running.
He made the most metres for his side with 72 from 9 carries and beat 2 defenders.

Dax are finally off the bottom of the Pro D2 ladder, leapfrogging their opponents Carcassonne following their 19-0 shut-out win.
