Meli Turagaca was handed his first starting jersey in the National 1. He started at Number 8 in Bourgoin’s trip to Perigueux.

He has played every match this season and looks to be making a good impression at his new club.

Meli Turagaca made his official National 1 debut, coming off the bench in Bourgoin’s 24-17 win over Albi in round 1.

Aged 26, this Fijian second row will bring all his power and commitment to the Berjallian squad. Trained partly in New Zealand , he then continued his progression in Georgia , in the first division, where he developed his skills in the forward game , particularly in the scrum, combat and ball-carrying phases .

Fijian international Ratu Meli is renowned for his physical impact , his sense of challenge and his ability to move forward hard with the ball.

His powerful, solid and promising profile is fully in line with the CSBJ Rugby project for the coming seasons.”
