Dax suffered their biggest loss of the season so far, on the road against Agen where they failed to score a point 31-0.

Winger Jope Naseara was yellow carded in the 62nd minute when he led with the forearm whilst carrying the ball. It was more of a reflex reaction after bumping away from 1 defender to the next.

Didn’t see much of the ball with only 4 carries to his name in what was a frustrating night all round for the visitors.

Jope Naseara scored his opening try of the season for Dax in their home match against Vannes on Friday.

The home side trailed 10-0 after 30 minutes before the Nadi native playing in only his 2nd match since returning last week, powered through several defenders to score a much needed 5 pointer.

He started on the bench but was thrown into the game after only 4 minutes after Dax Centre Bastien Daguerre left the field injured.

10 carries for 36 metres, 2 linebreaks and 5 defenders beaten.

Dax eventually took the lead in the 63rd minute 15-13 before a late penalty gave Vannes a 1 point lead (16-15) and ultimately, the win.

Jope Naseara made a succesful return from injury for Dax. He started on the wing in their trip to Provence.

He made a couple of damaging runs and doesn’t look to be hampered in his running.

He made the most metres for his side with 72 from 9 carries and beat 2 defenders.

After 5 rounds Dax find themselves at the bottom of the Pro D2 with 1 win and 4 losses.

Jope Naseara is still recovering from a knee injury that has kept him sidelined since round 11 of last season (November 16).
