Stade Francais won their third straight match on Sunday morning (FJT), taking another big scalp in La Rochelle 26-24 in a thrilling encounter which ended with an 81st minute penalty kick.
Winger Peniasi Dakuwaqa scored his 3rd try of the season and 3rd in as many games as he raced away in the 53rd minute after a loose pass fell in the hands of Centre Jeremy Ward who served up his speedy winger to do the rest.
Despite the win Stade Francais dropped down to third due to for and against but remain equal in points with leaders Pau and Toulouse.
Vinaya Habosi scored his 3rd try in his last 3 games, this time against the high flying Montpellier side 32-25.
Although named at Centre, he played the majority of the game on the win as injuries forced a reshuffle by Racing.
He showed great strength to carry 3 defenders over the tryline and score the decisive try in the 76th minute, the final pass coming from Josua Tuisova.
Racing move up into 5th position following the win, a road trip to Toulon next up.
Lyon flyer Jiuta Wainiqolo scored 2 tries for Lyon in their big win over Perpignan 44-19.
His first came in the 50th minute when he finished off a backline movement and in the the 75th minute he pounced on a loose pass, skipped past the first defender in the same movement and ran 50 metres to score another superb try.
He finished the game with a match high 133 metres, 3 linebreaks and 4 defenders beaten along with his double.
Bristol shocked the competition with a gutsy and gritty win over the much fancied Exeter.
Better known for their flair and attacking brilliance, the Bears showed a side to them that was not believed to be in their DNA - pure defensive resilience.
Viliame Mata scored their opening try in the 25th minute. He beat the initial 2 defenders before running the best part of 50 metres untouched.
In the closing 15 minutes, the home side defended their line as the Chiefs tried desperately to score what would have been a go-ahead score, instead denied time and time again by a resolute Bristol defence.
Head Coach Pat Lam called it "the proudest I have ever been" post game.
