Tui Kamikamica scored his first try of the season when he burst onto a Harry Grant pass 10 metres from the Parramatta tryline to go over untouched.

The Storm were without shotcaller Jahrome Hughes and struggled at times, the Eels remaining within a try the whole game. A late try to Xavier Coates was enough to get the visitors a 16-10 win.

Reports have started circulating regarding the future of Tui Kamikamica. The Storm front rower could reportedly be on his way to the UK Super League following the 2025 season unless another NRL club can find the salary cap space for the Fiji Bati skipper.

Kamikamica has been with the Storm since 2017, playing over 128 matches over that 9 year span.

The Melbourne Storm won a Golden Point thriller against the Rabbitohs in Sydney 25-24. They led the game 12-0 before the home side clawed their way back. The lead changed several times before both sides being locked at 24 all in the 80th minute.

Storm fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen kicked the winning field goal.

Kamikamica started on the interchange bench and made 7 carries for 65 metres and 14 tackles defensively.

Kamikamica scores first for the season

Melbourne Storm Prop Tui Kamikamica scored his first try of the season when he ran onto a beautifully timed Harry Grant pass in the 33rd minute of their 16-10 win in Parramatta.

The Taveuni native ran a great line and went over untouched. The Storm move into 2nd for the time being with the Bulldogs yet to play.

The match remained close and the Storm's 69th minute try through Xavier Coates was enough to get them the 2 points without their star halfback Jahrome Hughes.
