Josh Thompson scored his first try for Grenoble in their loss to Vannes on Sunday night.
He broke away from the side of a lineout maul to crash over in the left corner in the dying minutes of their 28-18 loss.
It was his first start at Lock after a couple of starts at Flanker. He made 12 carries for 29 metres and was superb defensively with a game high 15 tackles from 16 attempts and 2 dominant tackles.
Josh Thompson got his 2nd straight start for Grenoble, at openside Flanker against Beziers.
Grenoble came into the match with only 1 win in their last 5 outings and were desperate to get their season back on track. Against a Beziers side suffering from three straight defeats, this was probably the game to do it.
Thompson was one of the home sides best on the night. He made several big carries, a total of 10 runs on the night. Twice he was hit high, one in a tackle and once in the ruck but soldiered on for a 70 minute performance.
He made 12 tackles defensively and led the way with tackle dominance with 3 dominant tackles to his name.

Grenoble had the lions share of possession especially in the final 10 minutes as they tried desperately to score a go-ahead try but the home side held firm even past the 80 minute mark to win 34-28.
