After starting last week on the wing, Hickes returned to his usual Centre position and scored in the 66th minute.

Perigueux came into this match undefeated and scored 2 tries to Tarbes 1 but were let down by ill-discipline, giving up 18 points via 6 penalties.

Perigueux hosted Nice in the 2nd round with Fred Hickes starting on the wing.

It was a battle of the heavyweights, both sides coming off impressive round 1 wins.

The home side raced out to a 16-3 lead before a second half fightback from Nissa made it a tight finish. Perigueux did enough to hold on, winning 19-15.
