A Fly-half with oldschool toughness who punches way above his weight in defence. Muntz has been Fiji’s leading Fly-Half over the past 3 years. He joins Provence in the Pro D2 following the 2025 Pacific Nations Cup.
Caleb Muntz and Simione Kuruvoli steered the Flying Fijians to victory against the Brave of Scotland. It wasn’t a perfect performance from the flyhalf, kicking the ball out on the full in the opening minute and turning the ball over on 3 other occasions but he was solid defensively and distributed well.
Kicked 2/3 conversions, 1 penalty goal and a try assist when he threw the final pass for Jiuta Wainiqolo’s try.
Caleb Muntz took the reigns at flyhalf in the Flying Fijians opening test match of the year. Without being spectacular, he serviced the team well and played distributor for most the game. Took on the line on a 7 occasions, gaining 42 metres and was forced to make 5 tackles.
Had a decent day with the boot, kicking 2 penalties and 1 of 2 conversions.
