Avakuki Niusalelekitoga scored his first try in the Pro D2 for Soyaux. After a solid showing in his debut last weekend, he started at Centre against one of the competition heavyweights in Oyonnax.
He powered onto the ball at the end of the first half to score Soyaux’ first 5 pointer and his first career try at Pro level.
Was contained well with only 4 carries registered and 8 tackles defensively.

The former Fiji U20 rep started on the bench and entered the game in the 62 minute. Soyaux hit the lead shortly after his entry into the game through academy teammate Paul Berges on a stunning 50 metre run.
They held on to win the game 34-28 after a tense final few minutes. Niusalelekitoga didn’t see much in terms of attack but defensively had to make 2 crucial tackles including one where he dislodged the ball and forced a turnover.
A solid 20 minute first shift for the young flyer.

Entering the match in the 62nd minute, he didn't see much in terms of attack as his side battled hard to hold their lead. He made 2 crucial tackles including a tackle which forced a mistake.
