Leone Nawai played 7 matches in the 2025 NPC season for Taranaki.
They looked like a serious title threat after winning their first 3 games successively. The international season however probably was the biggest disruption as their form-line started to dip.
Nawai played off the bench in all but 1 of his 7 games and was a solid contributor.
Whether he returns to the Fijian Drua in 2026 is yet to be determined.
