  • Kaminieli Rasaku makes his Pro D2 debut
  • Fiji finish off their Autumn Nations Series against the French Barbarians

Pro D2 Round 11 Nov 17-18

Provence – Adrian Sanday 22 | Stade Montois – Kaminieli Rasaku 14

Rasaku makes his Pro D2 debut for Mont de Marsan. The first year pro is on loan from Bayonne for the remainder of the season.

Rasaku scored Mont de Marsan’s only try in the 63rd minute. Provence won by a single point 20-19. Rasaku completes the double with him also scoring on debut for Bayonne in the Top 14. His try wasn’t his only highlight in the match as he proved how dangerous he is with ball in hand as per French reports “Rasaku sets fire to the Provence defence.”

Grenoble – Pio Muarua 5 | Soyaux – Sikeli Nabou 5, Ledua Mau 13

Rouen – Benito Masilevu 11 vs Carcassonne

Colomiers – Peni Rokoduguni 14 | Montauban – Semesa Rokoduguni 14

First time the two brothers are lining up against eachother.

Semesa Rokoduguni scored in the 57th minute. Montauban won the match 23-19.

Beziers – Watisoni Votu 14 @ RC Vannes

Votu scored his 2nd try of the season in the 60th minute. Beziers lost the match 10-16.

Aurillac – Christa Powell 12 | Nevers – Alivereti Loaloa 13

Agen – Kolinio Ramoka 12, Tevita Railevu 14 vs Oyonnax

Nationale Round 10 Nov 18-20

Valence – Ben Neiceru 12 | Dax – Ilikena Bolakoro 12

Suresnes – Petero Tuwai 12 @ Bressane

Narbonne – Luke Nakobukobua 8 @ Blagnac

Nakobukobua scored in the 78th minute. The match finished a 12 all draw.

Tarbes – Jone Seuvou 5, Josaia Vakacegu 12 vs Albi

Chambery – Mosese Mawalu 11, Vereniki Goneva 12 | Bourgoin – Kemueli Lavetanakoroi 4

Mawalu scored Chambery’s only try in the 52nd minute while Goneva was yellow carded in the 80th minute. Chambery lost the match 19-26.

Carqueiranne-Hyères – David Raikuna 21 @ Rennes

Cognac – Jone Tuva 11, Isimeli Kuruibua 12, Eneri Lotawa 13 | Stade Nicois – Laijiasa Bolenaivalu 8, Sakiusa Bureitakiyaca 14

Bolenaivalu was yellow carded in the 74th minute. Nice won the match 28-13.

Autumn Nations Series Nov 19-20

Australia – Rob Valetini 8, Mark Nawaqanitawase 14 @ Ireland

Valetini returns to the side. The Wallabies are coming off a loss to Italy and will look to put in a respectable if not winning performance against the World number 1 who had their troubles against Fiji last weekend.

Fiji – Eroni Mawi 1, Sam Matavesi 2, Manasa Saulo 3, Api Ratuniyarawa 4, Temo Mayanavanua 5, Isoa Nasilasila 6, Kitione Kamikamica 7, Viliame Mata 8, Simione Kuruvoli 9, Ben Volavola 10, Vinaya Habosi 11, Kalaveti Ravouvou 12, Waisea Nayacalevu 13, Jiuta Wainiqolo 14, Setariki Tuicuvu 15 Reserves – Tevita Ikanivere 16, Livai Natave 17, Luke Tagi 18, Mesulame Dolokoto 19, Johnny Dyer 20, Peni Matawalu 21, Adrea Cocagi 22, Sireli Maqala 23 | French Barbarians – Noa Nakaitaci 14

Levani Botia and Vilimoni Botitu miss out due to injury as does Ratu Rotuisolia who is on concussion protocol. Kamikamica gets a start in the backrow with Nasilasila moving from lock to cover flanker with Dyer on the bench as their cover. Frank Lomani overlooked for Kuruvoli and Matawalu while Volavola’s impact in his last match has earned him back the starting 10 position.
Albert Tuisue is suspended following his red card last week.

Fiji finished off their Autumn Nations Series with a convincing win 46-14. Wainiqolo and Habosi scored doubles. See match page
