Let’s take a look at how Round 3 transpired for our Fijians in the Gallagher Premiership.
Bristol notch first win
After two lacklustre games from last years regular season leaders to start the new season, they bounced back to claim a 5 point victory over Bath. Semesa Rokoduguni scored in the 42nd minute for Bath.

Siva Naulago is still out with a broken arm and should be back within the next month but the big news is Semi Radradra will miss the next 4 months with a knee injury he suffered in the Semi Final of the Olympic Games against Argentina. Radradra will miss the Autumn tests. There is a possibility he returns just before the Premiership Rugby finals.

Eroni Mawi was named on the bench in his first game of the season in the top grade and was on earlier than expected when he was called on to replace an injured Ralph Adams-Hale in the 19th minute. Mawi’s Saracens would lose narrowly to Leicester who was without Nemani Nadolo. Unsure if he was rested or injured. Kini Murimurivalu is still yet to get a run for the unbeaten Tigers this season.
Northampton continue their perfect start to the season with another win. This time against Albert Tuisue’s London Irish. Tuisue was busy with 11 carries for 37 metres.
For the Saints Sam Matavesi started at hooker and got his hands dirty making 11 tackles for the match while Api Ratuniyarawa , who was at lock was yellow carded in the 44th minute. Frank Lomani was named on the bench but did not take the field.
Newcastle managed their second win of the season by beating Wasps 18-14. Centre George Wacokecoke came on in the 74th and despite his limited minutes managed 42 metres off 3 runs, a linebreak, 1 defender beaten and a offload. Cameron Nordli-Kelemeti was also on the bench for the Falcons.

As we mentioned, Siva Naulago, Nathan Hughes and Kini Murimurivalu amongst others. Nemani Nadolo was missing for Leicester, no word on injury of if he was rested. Same for Rusiate Tuima who wasn’t there for Exeter.
