Vilimoni “Dels” Delasau first appeared for Fiji in 1998 representing the national 7s side led by Waisale Serevi. Over the course of the next decade Delasau would go on to become a national hero and a household name in both 15s and 7s.
Embed from Getty ImagesHe was known for his graceful running style and ability to beat defenders with a deadly sidestep or goose. The one time Lautoka rep is a Sevens World Cup winner in 2005 and also was among the best wingers at the 2007 RWC, helping Fiji to a historic quarter final berth.
Delasau retired in 2012 a legend in Fiji Rugby.
