Osea Kolinisau etched his name alongside the greats of Sevens after leading the trailblazing Fiji Sevens side to Gold (first medal for Fiji) at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Making his debut in the 2008 Dubai leg, Kolinisau displayed great awareness, tactical thinking and leadership skills which made him a perfect choice for captain later in his career.
He formed a great partnership with former coach Ben Ryan and together helped the Fiji side return to it’s rightful place in the Sevens series. He led the side to back-to-back series wins from 2014-2016 right through to the Olympics.
