2021 Halfback of the year
Nippy Queensland Reds halfback Moses Sorovi burst onto the scene in 2017 for the Reds after impressing at NRC level with Brisbane City. The former Australian Schoolboy Rep is known for his quickness around the ruck, is great in open space and is an excellent support player.
Sorovi was born in Thursday Island and grew up on Yam Island in the Torres Strait. He is the son of Fiji’s former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Mosese Sorovi.
He grew up a Rugby League fan and idolised Lote Tuqiri but was soon on the path of the 15 man game after attending St Peters Lutheran College in Brisbane.
