Nadroga offloading genius Jasa “Jazzman” Veremalua made his first appearance on the Sevens circuit in 2013. He has since played out an impressive career including 3 Series Championships, a Commonwealth Silver medal and a Olympic Gold Medal.
Embed from Getty ImagesHe is known for his unique ball handling with a trademark one hand carry and basketball like passes from impossible angles. Veremalua has been a constant threat for the Fiji Sevens side over the years.
At the end of the 2015/2016 season, Jasa was awarded the DHL Impact player of the year to go along with winning the series with Fiji. The season culminated in him winning the Gold Medal at the Olympic Games, scoring a try in the final and gifting another to Josua Tuisova.
Veremalua is now with MLR franchise the San Diego Legions.
