Former Fijian Sevens rep Isake Katonibau is known for his aggressive defense and intimidating opposition players. He was also known as Iceman which he later declared it was originally “Eyes”. The name Iceman stuck as it was fitting for a man that had a cold and hard demeanour.

Katonibau first appeared for Fiji in the 2010 IRB Circuit and would go on to forge a long career on the circuit culminating in his finest years from 2014-2018 where he established himself as one of the best forwards in the game under the guidance of Ben Ryan.

Isake is also the First Fijian to commentate on the World Sevens Series. He achieved this at the 2019 Cape Town Sevens.
