Viliame Tutuvuli scored his first try for Carcassonne in their round 11 loss to Valence. At home, they put up a big fight against the top 4 Romans but couldn’t quite finish their comeback after trailing 29-7 at one point in the second half.
In the 59th minute Tutuvuli leapt above his opposition winger to take a cross-field kick and touch down in the left corner in an impressive show of athleticism.
He made a match high 60 metres from 9 carries and 1 linebreak.
Carcassonne are now winless in their last 6 games and sit at the bottom of the table. Things don’t get easier, with a tough schedule over the next 5 weeks starting with Provence, Vannes, Brive, Soyaux and Oyonnax.
