Carcassonne slumped to their 5th consecutive week without a win. Their round 10 loss to Dax would be rubbing salt into their wounds however as now they drop to last on the Pro D2 ladder, and Dax into 15th.

It was wet, it was ugly and Carcassonne failed to score a single point in a forgettable night for the newcomers.

Tutuvuli made 3 carries for 18 metres, 1 linebreak, 1 defender beaten and 2 tackles.

Viliame Tutuvuli looked to have scored a long range try for Carcassonne, a try which would have been his first 5 pointer for the club if not for the TMO intervening through no fault of Vili’s.

Still managed 61 metres from 4 carries, 2 defenders beaten and 4 tackles.

A 57-12 scoreline is their biggest loss so far this season and their third in a row.

Viliame Tutuvuli played his first competition match for Carcassonne in round 1. He started on the wing in their away game at Aurillac and were beaten heavily 10-41.

He didn’t get many opportunities with only a handful of touches and kept to 12 metres gained.

Pro D2 round 2 wrap

Round 2 of the Pro D2 wrapped up this morning;

Johnny Dyer started at lock for Biarritz who were heavily beaten by Colomiers 44-10.

Grenoble are equal first after 2 rounds after a 38-16 win over Aurillac. Kaminieli Rasaku with a game high 4 linebreaks and 9 defenders beaten. Simeli Yabaki made his first appearance of the season for the visitors.

Viliame Tutuvuli was yellow carded for an obstruction in Carcassonne's upset victory over Oyonnax 19-17. He was solid nonetheless with 3 linebreaks. Edward Sawailau started at Centre for the Oyomen.

Petero Mailulu made his season debut in Beziers big win over Nevers 49-12.

Taniela Sadrugu saw 10 minutes in the bin for a cynical tackle in Brive's 23-8 win over Dax and a couple minutes later Josaia Nacika (Dax) was red carded for a high tackle. He now has a yellow and a red in the first 2 rounds. Asaeli Tuivuaka started on the wing outside Etonia Bainivalu at Centre while Jale Vatubua started at 12 for Dax.

Albert Tuisue came off the bench for Provence who lost 30-33 to Valence while Setareki Bituniyata made his debut on the left wing.

Kitione Kamikamica made his return for Vannes, they defeated Soyaux who had Nemani Kurucake come off the bench. Final score Vannes 28-9.

And usual Centre Nacani Wakaya started at Flanker for Mont de Marsan who were heavily beaten 53-7 by Agen who had Kolinio Ramoka on their bench.
