Peceli Yato played his last match for Clermont, the club in which he started his professional career and has spent over a decade. They faced Bayonne in their Quarter Final. Yato started on the bench and entered the game in the 48th minute.

It was his 158th Top 14 appearance and 190th cap overall. He joins Perpignan next season who will have to fight off Grenoble’s challenge to retain their spot in the competition.

Perpignan staying in Top 14

Perpignan have defeated Grenoble in a a thrilling contest 13-11 to retain their place in the Top 14. Winger Tavite Veredamu scored his sides only try after only 2 minutes. The match turned into a tight tussle with the lead changing several times. A penalty goal in the 77th minute gave USAP a 2 point lead and ultimately the win.
