Marika Koroibete has hinted that his time in the Wallabies jersey is over after a brilliant run in gold. The hard-running winger, who played 63 Tests and scored 20 tries, said he’s ready to make way for the next generation coming through.
“I think I’m done with the Wallabies,” he said. “They’ve got a lot of young outside backs coming up and they’re building for the World Cup as well. It’s exciting to see the Wallabies grow and reach their potential.”
Marika Koroibete started on the Wing for the AUNZ combined side that took on the British and Irish Lions in Adelaide last night.
It was tough going for the invitational side as the failed to score a point, the Lions far too strong and keep their undefeated run alive with a 48-0 win.
Koroibete played the first 43 minutes and recorded only 2 carries according to Rugbypass.
