Marcelo Montoya made his return from injury for the Bulldogs in their Friday night top 4 clash against the Storm.
He made a visible difference to his side especially in defence and bringing the ball back to kick-start their sets.
He made 123 metres from 17 carries and 44 post contact metres. He also set up a try for Viliame Kikau after passing the ball back in-field whilst being pushed out of bounds.
The 2nd placed Bulldogs faced one of their biggest challenges of the year in the resurgent Panthers. The home side led 6-2 at halftime but failed to score in the second half. The Premiers taking the lead in the 55th minute and held on to win 8-6.
Montoya started on the wing and made a linebreak, 185 metres from 23 runs with 53 post contact metres.
